Workmanship Warranty
Section 1: Workmanship Warranty (1 Year)
Resinox coatings warrants that for 1 year from the application date, the epoxy flooring will be applied with reasonable care and skill.
Decisions regarding whether a defect is covered, and the method of repair, are made solely by Resinox coatings.
Our sole remedy under this workmanship warranty is: at our option, to repair the affected portion of the flooring at no charge to you. We will repair only the specific area where the defect exists, not the entire floor or adjacent areas. Repairs may result in slight colour or texture variation compared to surrounding areas. This is normal and not considered a defect.
Section 2: Product Warranty (From Manufacturer)
The epoxy materials used on your floor come with a manufacturer's product warranty (varies by brand, typically 5-10 years for defects like yellowing, chalking, or curing failure).
Our role:
- We will provide you with the manufacturer's warranty details and contact information
- We will assist you in filing a claim with the manufacturer
- We will provide proof of purchase and batch numbers
What we do NOT cover:
- We do not cover labour costs to remove or reapply epoxy if the product itself fails
- If the manufacturer replaces the product for free, you are responsible for paying someone (us or another contractor) to apply it
- Product failures (yellowing, chalking, curing issues) are the manufacturer's responsibility, not ours

Section 3: What This Warranty Does NOT Cover
This warranty does NOT cover any damage or defect resulting from:

| Concrete condition | Cracks, movement, moisture, salts, weak or crumbling surface |
| Chemicals | Battery acid, solvents, bleach, degreasers |
| Physical damage | Dragging furniture, metal kickstands, tyre marks, dropped tools |
| Acts of nature | Flooding, extreme heat, ground movement |
| Cleaning abuse | Pressure washers, hard brushes, abrasive scrubbers |
| Normal wear | Surface scratches, loss of gloss, minor chalking, colour change |
| Anything after delivery | Any damage after you take possession |
| Non-payment | This warranty is void if full payment has not been received |
| Product failure (labour) | We do not cover labour for manufacturer product defects |
| Curing non-compliance | Any damage caused by failure to follow curing instructions (including parking vehicles, water exposure, or heavy load before curing period is complete) |
Section 4: Your Responsibilities
To keep this warranty valid, you agree to:
- Clean only using the epoxy manufacturer approved cleaner or a mild pH-neutral cleaner recommended by us. Use of harsh or unapproved chemicals will void this warranty. Use no other cleaning products
- Contact us to purchase replacement approved cleaner when needed
Using any unapproved cleaner immediately voids this warranty.
Section 5: How to Make a Claim
For workmanship issues (our error):
- Email us within 30 days of discovery
- Provide invoice and photos
- Allow access to inspect (48 hours notice)
- Customer must provide reasonable access to the site for inspection and repair. Delays in access may affect warranty timelines.
For product issues (manufacturer defect):
- Contact the manufacturer directly using details we provide
- We will assist with documentation and batch numbers
- You arrange and pay for labour if reapplication is needed
Section 6: Limitations
- Non-transferable: This warranty applies only to the original customer
- Limited liability: We are not liable for any damage to belongings, vehicles, loss of use, injuries, or any other costs beyond repairing our workmanship
- No labour for product claims: We do not cover labour costs for manufacturer product defects
- No other warranties: This written warranty is the only warranty provided
- Photos may be taken at the time of job completion as a record of the finished condition.
Customer Acknowledgment
By signing below, I acknowledge that:
- I have read and understand this entire warranty
- I understand my epoxy floor has a 1-year workmanship warranty from the installer
- I understand the epoxy materials have a separate manufacturer warranty
- I understand that labour costs for product defects are my responsibility
- I agree to clean only with the approved cleaner specified to me
- I accept the finished floor as complete
