Anti-Slip Flake Flooring – Side Path & Patio, Thornlands

Slip-resistant flake floor coating installed along the side path and front patio of a home in Thornlands, Redland City.

The homeowner wanted an outdoor surface that looks great, sheds water and stays safe underfoot when wet. We prepared the concrete, applied a two-part epoxy base coat, broadcast a full-coverage decorative flake blend (cream, tan, brown and black) and finished with a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat with an anti-slip aggregate.

The finished floor was tested to P4–P5 slip resistance under AS 4586 – suitable for wet outdoor areas, ramps and pool surrounds. Floor drains and A/C pads were neatly cut in and sealed.
