The Gold Coast throws two things at a concrete floor that inland suburbs do not - salt air and constant wet feet. Garages near the water pick up rust marks and surface fretting, and patios, pool surrounds and side paths stay damp long enough to grow that slick green film. A sealed coating stops moisture getting into the slab and makes both problems go away.

For garages we use flake epoxy with a clear polyaspartic topcoat. It is UV stable, so an open roller door facing afternoon sun will not yellow it, and the flake gives the floor texture instead of the skating rink feel that plain gloss paint can have.

Outdoors we add an anti slip grit to the topcoat. It is the same system we run on patios, alfresco areas, side paths and pool surrounds, and it stays grippy wet or dry without being rough on bare feet. Metallic epoxy is also popular here for showrooms, home gyms and feature floors.
